{Jessica + Jason} Celebrating One Year of Marriage...red bluff, CA couples photographer

This has got to be one of my all time favorite couple's sessions. Word on the street is that Jessica met Jason while he was working at Borders bookstore. What better way to celebrate your love for each then to document your first married year together in, well...a bookstore. :)

Unfortunately, Borders is no longer in business so they chose their current favorite bookstore called The Bookstore in Chico, CA. (P.S. It's one of my favorite bookstores in Nor Cal as well. If your ever in Chico, you should definitely visit!)

Not only are these two celebrating their first anniversary, but they are also getting ready to welcome their first child together. Isn't that just so sweet?!

I love photographing this family! Little Madison is so sweet and playful. I just can't get enough of her. Isn't she a doll? 

This day was pretty hot and humid, for fall weather. I have only lived in Red Bluff for a few years and it's still hard for me to get past the humidity. But we made it work and even through all the "hotness" outside we were able to capture this family's love for one another. They have been one of my most loyal clients, and I hope I get to capture many more moments as they grow.

OMG! It has been almost a year since I took these photos of my sister's family. Guess that's the good and bad of having a sister who is a photographer. She gets lots of free photos, but it's never a guarantee she will see them on the blog in a timely manner, LOL. In light of my brother-in-law going back over seas for the third time, I am posting them now. These were taken just after he returned from his second tour over seas and Avynn (my cute little niece there) was born just prior to his arrival. You can see her birth story here.
