I have been thinking I needed to do a piece on me, the photographer, so you guys could get to know me a bit more. Instead of the ordinary bio, I thought I'd make it fun. So I stole a challenge from a blog that I love, and have been following, called Life In Motion. You can find it here:
www.lifeinmotionphotography.com . It challenges you to list 100 things about you. I am only going to list 50 though. I'm a cheater, LOL! Can that be #1? Just kidding :).
I always love doing things like this because it forces me to reflect on who I am today. And I think it's fun to look back on things like this years from now. Something like a time capsule on paper. Right?
So here it goes...feel free to steal the challenge from me if you'd like.
1. I love taking pictures. SURPRISE SURPRISE TEHEHE!
2. I can't stand having my picture taken! HEHEHE. Just ask Jessica, the photographer who took my head shots for me :).
3. I love to sing...and lots of times I even dance while I am singing LOUDLY in my car. (My kids and my husband secretly love that about me, especially when we are stopped at a red light and there are people all around ;)) So don't be surprised if you pull up next to my car and catch me rockin out!
4. I worked as a server for 10 years...so tip your waiter/waitress even if your service was less then what you expect. Most times it's not intentional and most times it's not their fault, they are just the messenger. They work hard for their money I promise you that!
5. I am married to my best friend. His name is Thomas and I adore him!

6. I have been to Hawaii 4 times...it is the most magical place on earth, next to Disneyland of course.
7. Speaking of Disneyland, My family and I are die hard Disney fans.
8. My favorite Disney movie is Snow White. Mary Poppins is a close second!
9. The one chore I refuse to do in the house is the dishes, luckily my husband doesn't mind!
10. I have two children...Raynen & Bailey. They are my whole world.

11. I love photographing my children. My son hates it but my daughter would let me take pictures of her all day.
12. I can't edit a session without a candle lit and my favorite music playing.
13. Speaking of music...I am currently obsessed with the music from the band called Sleeping At Last. Their lyrics are pure poetry and I would marry it if I could, LOL!
14. I don't throw away my yearly planners. I feel like it's a record of my daily life and I just can't part with them...I'm weird like that.
15. I used to decorate cakes. I still do but just for fun!
16. I currently reside in Northern California, but I'm a So Cal girl at heart!
17. I would wear nothing but pajamas if it was at all considered decent by society.
18. I love to take road trips.
19. I often get in my car and drive with no where to go.
20. I would love to live and travel in an RV at some point in my life.
21. I like to drink anything out of a coffee mug.
22. I LOVE vintage and retro things!
23. I thrift store shop regularly. I have since I was in high school!
24. I love the rainy gloomy weather.
25. I'm half way there!!! HAHA!
26. I am a wall flower at heart, but I can be very out spoken when provoked, LOL!
27. I think I am pretty liberal. To each his own and whatever makes you happy! Pro lots of things!!!

I like to watch movies that make me cry. Is that weird? I know there has got to be someone else out there that likes that?
29. Do not get in a debate with me, you will never win...just ask my husband!
30. I day dream A LOT.
31. I don't watch anything scary after dark.
32. I often put my hair in a bun and go with-out make-up, but I used to spend hours on my hair and make-up. What can I say... kids change you, lol! Any other mommas out there agree?
33. A perfect girls night would include a dive of a bar and a karaoke machine!
34. I appreciate the little things!
35. I will try almost anything once, but as I get older the list of things I won't try gets longer.
36. I used to want to be Samantha Brown because getting to travel the world and talk about it seems like an amazing job!
37. I take my camera EVERYWHERE! And if you plan on being friends with me expect to be followed like the paparazzi if you take a trip with our family somewhere.
38. People inspire me in so many different ways everyday. I am constantly looking to be inspired!
39. The anthem for me right now is Bravado by Lorde! Love her!
40. I curse often.
41. Mob Wives is my guilty pleasure.
42. I work with developmentally disabled adults and I love it.
43. I'm a Canon girl.

44. I must have had ten majors in college but none of them were photography.
45. When my son is mean to my daughter I make him kiss her on the cheek as a punishment. He hates it but she loves it. ;) Way to be creative right?
46. The best way to get a hold of me is on FB, LOL!
47. When friends ask for recommendations on what point and shoot to buy, I try to get them to go with a DSLR. Then I can teach them how to use it! HEHE!

49. I'm a night owl.
50. I was in colorguard in high school. I had the best time being a band geek!
